My days, thoughts and dreams.

{July 22, 2009}   I was thinking…

Omg I totally need to keep up with my blog *blush*

Anyway, I have been thinking (yes, me, thinking!!) that I could do product reviews on my blog. I mean random things like shampoos, make up, food, books, drinks… Basically anything. So my first review is on Alberto Balsam Kids Tangerine Tickle Shampoo.

I loveeeeee this product so much! It is a shampoo and conditioner all in one, and it smells of tangerines.  It leaves hair looking, feeling and smelling great, but it still smells really subtle. It is a 400 ml bottle, with a bright sticker label. The product is a soft orange colour, but then comes out of the bottle clear.  If you shake the bottle (like I just did…) the shampoo appears to be jelly-like, but it’s not! The cap is a squeezy one, although the shampoo seems to fall out the bottle without the need to squeeze lol.

Advantages- Smells good, leaves hair soft and shiny.

Disadvantages-  Hmmm… If you don’t wash it off thoroughly then it can leave a bit of a greasy film on hair.

Rating- 9/10

So there is my review lol. I hope you liked it!

Hugs

5 sheets white A4 paper

1 guillotine cutter

1 magnolia cupcake stamp

1 roll Double sided tape

1. Cut the card and paper to desired size. tape/glue together to form a notebook.

2. colour in a cupcake and cut out. stick to the front of notebook.

So there ya go. I expect you to make it and show me piccies now :)

Anyway, I got a game for yall: Guess the Pet!- All you need to do is comment and guess how many pets I’ve got. The prize is a certificate. the comp will run until the 1st September. the correct or closest to the answer will win. Ok? if  more than 1 person wins, all the winners will get a certificate.  enjoy the competition! No entries after closing date are accepted. Thank you for looking!!!!

{July 22, 2008}   Fairy Cakes

Me, Tiegan and Callum made fairy cakes today. We also made some fruit cakes. Here is a recipe for them:

  • 200g Butter or margarine
  • 200g Caster Sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 300g Self Raising Flour

1. preheat oven to 180c, 350f or Gas Mark 4. Cream the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs, and sift the flour over the mixture. Fold in.

2. Spoon the mixture into paper cases, and cook until golden brown.

3. wait to cool and then eat. if you want fruit cakes then add the desired amount of raisins to the raw mixture.

Thanks for reading!

{June 20, 2008}   Friday 20 June 2008

I’ve been slacking *blush* I haven’t wrote any Ice Adventures for ages 2 days! Well, would you if you got drawn to playing Twister Moves with your 3 siblings??? Oh what fun it is to be a child    ;)

Anyway, I have done a little schoolwork/research today. 1stly me and Joseph went on to the Tesco’s website. We roughly wrote down what we thought about the website, discussing what we thought of the site regarding the layout, colour scheme, product pictures (like how clear they were), product descriptions, you get the picture. We then rated it. We also went through Sainsburys, ASDA, and Morrisons, doing the same things with each. It was rather interesting. You can read more about it on my brothers blog. I read a book about Mummies ( the dead people, not mothers ;) ), and it may have inspired me to do a project about it (watch this space).

Anyway, it’s 7:17 and I should go to bed now!

See ya laters

{June 19, 2008}   Thursday 19 June 2008

Today nothing much has been done. I’ve been on our trampoline, and played on our Wii. Me and my siblings played Wii Sports, Mario and sonic at the Olympics, and Zelda. It was fun. I have not written any more Ice Adventures. I’m very naughty :D We are going to do a project on the Olympics, and I am going to do a project about Greece.

Mum wants to buy us a Recorder {musical instrument} so we can learn to play it. I said she’ll probably have 2 musical geniuses in the making, meaning my little brother one and sister {aged 10 and 6} ‘cos I’ll sound like a stuck cat playing it

Anyways, Ta Ta 4 now!

{June 18, 2008}   Wednesday 18 June 2008

Much of today was spent room-tidying and Home-Ed resource sorting. We now have our dining room as a Schoolroom, cos it is bigger than our old one :D I have also been working on my story a little more, adding illustrations (though if I get it published, I’ll have a professional illustrator).

I have added some links to the side of my blog —————–> so check ‘em out

TTFN folks.

{June 17, 2008}   Tuesday 17th June 2008

Today I have been quite busy. I have sorted out HE stuff with my mum, and tidied my room. Schoolwork wise, I am currently working on a story called Ice Adventures. It is basically a story about 4 children (me and my siblings), who buy a spell from a gnome, and drink it. The effects are amazing…

Anyway, I’m giving too much away :)  Well, we are having quiche and salad for dinner.  *yummy*

bye for now!
